A new independent restaurant opening is always good news and when it’s on the site of a great vineyard, producing seriously good wines, it’s even better. So we were delighted to hear that Tinwood Estate near Chichester (and Goodwood Estate) is opening up its own restaurant this April.
They’ll be serving lunch daily and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays in their 50-cover restaurant, which has a huge south-facing terrace overlooking the vines.
Sun blazing down? Then they’ll happily pop your food in a picnic basket for you to enjoy amongst their beautiful vines with a chilled glass of one of their crisp bubblies.
So what’s on the menu? It will constantly change and evolve in line with what’s in season, but essentially, they’ll be offering modern British small plates, made with local seasonal produce, including fish, meat, and vegetables. And even better, the dishes will be matched to whatever you’re drinking. We got a taster of their food at one of their gorgeous harvesting experiences, so we know your tastebuds are in for a treat!
