You’re invited to the launch party of Selina Brighton’s new Middle Eastern-style restaurant

Another day, another new restaurant and this time, you’re invited to the launch party!

Seafront hotel Selina Brighton has opened a Middle Eastern-style restaurant, Zarqa, in the downstairs area previously occupied by much-missed Mexican eatery Tlaloc.

“After experiencing much success in other global locations, we are thrilled to finally introduce the Zarqa brand to the UK, particularly in a location that’s thriving with creativity and style,” said Moran Etedgi, Selina’s global executive chef.

Branded as a modern take on traditional Middle Eastern and Arabian flavours, the restaurant will serve up dishes such as Turkish eggs, shakshuka, eggs Paxos and Balkan toasties (no, we’re not too sure what they are either) made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

They’re initially opening for breakfast and brunch (8am – 3pm) but will be launching a dinner menu soon, too.

But back to that launch party. It all kicks off on Thursday 11th May from 5pm and you can join them.

There’ll be live music from Eurovision 2022 finalist Eliza G, DJ sessions from Saintpaul DJ and, of course, plenty of food to feast on. Fancy it? You can sign up for a free ticket here.

And the celebrations are continuing for the whole weekend, too, with music, DJs, tarot, yoga and more.
