new limited-edition burgers to get excited about

Call us burger-obsessed, but when two of our favourite patty places in the city bring out some limited editions, we feel it’s our duty to let you know. You’re welcome.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen
Bit of a controversial one, this one. The Chick by GBK features…wait for it…. grilled pineapple. Yep, that’s right. Pineapple-on-pizza haters may want to step away now. For everyone else, the pineapple sits cheek by cheek with tortilla-breaded chicken topped with red curry sauce, mixed leaf salad and carrots and some fiery sriracha mayo. It’s available until 19th April so you’ve got a good month to test your taste buds. The chain is also offering a free cocktail, beer, wine or soft drink to any mums who order the burger, using the password ‘mum’s the word’. Dinner sorted.

The Vurger Co.
Next up is vegan fast food joint The Vurger Co.’s limited-edition ‘Pork’ Vurger (feature image), a tasty month-long addition to their inventive, so-good-you’re-surprised-it’s-vegan burger line-up. It features a sausage-style ‘pork’ patty topped with vegan smoked gouda, house-made BBQ ‘baconnaise’ and hickory BBQ sauce and comes with crispy onion slaw and rocket. Yum. Do yourself a favour and get a Biscoff shake and a side of Tater Tots while you’re at it.

Honest Burgers guinness brighton burger

Honest Burgers
Honest Burgers have teamed up with Guinness to bring meat and beer fans the Guinness Fondue burger. This limited-edition offering combines Honest beef with candied bacon, Guinness fondue, crispy onions, Guinness beef and bacon gravy (a whopping 52 pints of the dark and creamy stuff go into each batch), rocket and pickles and comes with Honest’s banging rosemary-salted chips as standard. You can try it in the restaurant (with a pint of Guinness, of course) or order it for home delivery on Deliveroo. Just don’t wait ’til April as it’s only available until 28th March.
