the limited-edition specials we’re loving right now

The sun is finally shining here in Brighton and just when you think June can’t get any better, we bring you two limited-edition specials. You’re welcome.

Honest Burgers’ New Orleans Burger
Inspired by the Deep South in the States, Honest Burgers have teamed up with The Garden of Eva (they produce tasty pickles and condiments) for this year’s first fried chicken special, the New Orleans burger. There’s buttermilk chicken topped with candied bacon, American cheese, ranch mayo, Bull’s-Eye Louisiana Chipotle hot sauce and lettuce. Yum. We loved the tangy chow chow relish, an ode to Eva’s Southern American heritage, but we’d have loved a bit more of a kick from the hot sauce. As always, Honest’s trademark rosemary salted chips come as standard. Wash it all down with a homemade lemonade and thank us later.
How long’s it available for? Until 4th July

Tonkotsu’s Thai Curry Tonkotsu
Say hello to the Thai Curry Tonkotsu, the product of a Tonkotsu x AngloThai collaboration to mark Tonkotsu’s 10th birthday. Tonkotsu’s signature pork broth has been jam-packed with heat and spice, bringing the fragrant flavours of Northern Thailand to the table. The rich broth is balanced with citrus from the lime and zingy pickled mustard greens. And if you’re not salivating just yet – there’s more. Braised melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, homemade noodles, a seasoned egg with a jammy yolk, spring onion, coriander, and crispy fried noodles. Pair it with their nori chilli margarita – you won’t regret it.
How long’s it available for? Only until 30th June, get it while you can!20 New Road, Brighton BN1 1U
