boti’s pick of the week: frida pottery party

What better way to cure a post-England match hangover, than getting creative and celebrating the legend that was Frida Kahlo. It would have been her birthday this month, so the Painting Pottery Cafe are throwing a party to celebrate the famous Mexican artist and you’re invited.

We’d suggest booking your ticket sharpish so you can join the pottery party on Thursday 12th July at 6.30pm, where you’ll have the chance to paint a mug, plate or bowl inspired by the incredible artist for just £23pp (plus a small booking fee). They’ll have plenty of inspiration for you on the night, as well as nibbles to fuel your creativity! It’s BYOB too, so you can toast the legend with a glass or two of fizz while you work.

They’ve also got local guest illustrator Fern Eleanor there on the night, who will be creating a Frida-esque portrait of you to take home. Now we’re talking! Book via the link below or call the shop on 01273 628 952.
