Where do you get a mix of exciting live painting, DJs and excellent craft beer? Art Battle, of course!
Set up by the guys behind Do Not Obstruct (who turned the cab run below Brighton station into a must-visit temporary exhibition), the event pits talented artists against one another in an epic paint-off against the clock.
Twelve artists compete in three 20-minute rounds to whip up works of art as they try to win the audience’s hearts and snag the Art Battle crown.
At the end, all the work gets sold off in a silent auction, so you might even get to take an original home.
And if you fancy snapping up some art earlier in the day (2pm – 8pm), they’re also holding a tabletop art sale where you can get your hands on some enviable pieces (artists announced nearer the time).
