As The Great Escape confirms it won’t be taking place in person this year, it’s not all bad news because our favourite festival is going ahead online for the first time ever.
Yes, we’ll have to do without those mad drunken dashes between venues, but we’ll still get to enjoy the sounds of some brilliant new artists and the industry conference is going ahead virtually, too. Basically, May has been saved.
If you had hoped the music gods were on your side and snapped up a ticket early on, you’ll get a special loyalty link, which gives you a discount on the £45 online ticket.
As for your IRL tickets, you can choose to get a refund or just roll them over to next year when, fingers oh-so-tightly crossed, things will be back to normal.
