black deer country music festival returns for another hoe-down

It’s been a long wait, but the return of the Black Deer Festival is finally upon us! Kicking off this Friday, the 17th June, the Americana-themed event promises to be one to remember.

Not familiar? Black Deer is an absolute hoe-down of a festival featuring legendary headliners such as Van Morrison, Jake Bugg and James (you know, from the 90s), set in the gorgeous grounds of Eridge Park, the UK’s oldest deer park.

Alongside the music, there’ll be a host of cooking events, including live fire-cooking demos, Gospel brunch (righteous music with your grill-toasted waffles), and all things smokehouse and BBQ, bringing a taste of the Deep South to the wild Weald.

If you’re planning on bringing your mini saddle-swaggers along, they’ll be well-catered for in the Young Folk area. Here they can get involved in skateboard demos, tree-climbing, arts and crafts and their very own silent disco.

With more than 100 music acts across seven stages you’ll not only see the bands you love, but you’ll be sure to discover music you’re yet to fall in love with. So grab your stetsons, sequins and your finest festival get-up and get down!

Friday 17th – Sunday 19th June, 2022; from £81.89 (day to weekend tickets still available)
