check out this gorgeous new wellness space in hove

There’s a new space in Hove that celebrates community, connection, movement and flow. Set up by yoga teachers Deanne Oliver-Pickard (who’s also a DJ and runs brilliant women’s meet-up The Gather) and Calli Popham, the two ex-Londoners wanted somewhere by the sea to build a connected community and Flow State was born.

The name of the studio references that feeling you get where you’re so lost in what you’re doing that time becomes irrelevant. Deanne and Calli are passionate about finding that in everything, whether that’s movement and meditation or simply connecting with like-minded people.

And their gorgeous, welcoming space certainly makes that easier to achieve. Tucked down a side street in central Hove and situated next to the lovely pop-up shop at Studio 50, it’s a welcome addition to the area and perfect for giving yourself some much-needed you time.

There’s a great range of classes, too: from different yoga practices to breathwork sessions (some are led by our brilliant co-founder Betty), dance, slow-paced guided runs, sound healing, sexuality coaching, callisthenics, functional movement, a swimming group, parent and baby classes, and reiki. Phew! Basically, there’s something for (almost) everyone. You can check out the full timetable here.

Prices start at £14, but you can also buy blocks and monthly and annual memberships to save money if you’ll go regularly (which we reckon you will!).
