Visit Brighton’s best house of horrors and raise money for charity

We love a seasonally decorated house and this Brighton haunt is one of the very best. Every year, and for the last 14 years, the gang at 10 Highcroft Villas decorate their house and garden for Halloween for the local children (and adults!) and to raise money for charity.

And when we say decorate, Ollie Slim, the man behind the Highcroft Haunt, goes all out. It’s a seriously impressive undertaking, featuring everything from ghoulish night-time lighting to bloodied hands, creepy hanging skeletons, skulls on posts, and so much more.

Last year, we braved the world of Stranger Things‘ Hawkins and, for 2023, the house of horrors is Ghostbusters-themed. All together now: We ain’t afraid of no ghosts (or are we?).

You can even walk through the garden for a peek at more horrors inside their spooky gates. There’s a QR code on the gate for easy donation, or hit the link below.

They’re fundraising for the brilliant Macmillan Cancer Support again this year (they’ve raised a whopping £31,148 to date). The only question now is: do you dare to visit after dark?

From 3pm on Tuesday, 31st October; free, but please donate if you can
