house of illusions paradox place opens in Brighton

Optical illusion lovers are in for a treat as there are four whole floors of magic tricks and immersive, interactive artworks to brilliantly mess with your mind at Paradox Place, the new experience from the team behind Brighton escape room Pier Pressure.

Think brain-bamboozling optical illusions, such as the Ames room that disrupts our idea of size and distance perception, and new interpretations of historical magic tricks such as Pepper’s Ghost that let you become a live hologram.

It’s an Instagram lover’s dream with cool photo opportunities and surprises around every corner: there’s you skydiving, kite-surfing, oh, and now you’re a Punch and Judy character!

If you like escape rooms and the Upside-Down House, we reckon you’ll be in your element here at this family-friendly experience.

Opens Friday 28th May at 10am
Open daily 10am to 6pm; from £6.50, prebooking is recommended
94 Gloucester Road, Brighton BN1 4AP
