book now: christmas pundemic festival
With only hours until the doors reopen to some of our favourite places in the city, we can also expect to see a few new festive treats pop up for the Christmas season too. One of which is A Christmas Pundemic, taking over Jubilee Square for a socially distanced Christmas festival with music, cabaret, food and fun.
Have yourself a punny little Christmas, with a line up that includes a mix of events from Cabaret and Musical Bingo to Bottomless Brunch. Running from 3rd to 31st December, the square will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland, complete with a huge Dream Dome. The great news is that as Brighton will be going into Tier 2 from Wednesday 2nd December, this is the perfect place to have a festive catch up with up to five of your friends, as although it’s technically outside, the dome is very well heated for some much needed festive fun!
You can expect a pun filled alpine forest complete with socially distanced ski bubbles and chair lifts – who needs snow for a bit of apres fun? There will be hot drinks and food available on site too, so you can soak up the full festive experience.
Each ticket includes entry to the wintery wonderland space in Jubilee Square, a warm grazing box that is made up of local goodies with a gooey baked cheese (vegan Shamembert – geddit? – is an option too!), freshly baked bread and seasonal siders, with a mince pie or yule log for puds. We love to see they are supporting local businesses with the food supplies on site!
There are different packages available, depending on what on the line up takes your fancy, but we’re keen on the Merry Musical Bingo, which has an option for a ‘Fizz the Season’ bottomless brunch. The Hooray Cabaret will be bringing some incredible acts too, serving up a mix of festive drag, burlesque and circus. See you down there for a social distanced ‘cheers’.
A Christmas Pandemic festival will be running on selected dates from 3rd – 31st December, ticket prices and packages vary.
