Food and music lovers, rejoice, as Foodies Festival, aka Gastro-Glasto, aka the UK’s biggest food fest, is back in May. Even better, we’ve got three full family weekend ticket bundles up for grabs. Each one is worth £92 and gives access to two adults and up to three children for all three days of the event.
Landing in Preston Park for three days from Saturday 4th May, happily coinciding with the May bank holiday weekend for maximum fun, here’s a wee amuse-bouche of what to expect:
You’ll get mouthwatering interactive demos from multi-award-winning and Michelin-rated Brighton and Sussex chefs. Think 64 Degrees’ Michael Bremner, Etch’s Steven Edwards, Burnt Orange’s Peter Dantanus, Cin Cin’s Jamie Halsall, Chilli Pickle’s Alun Sperring, The Bell in Ticehurst’s Mark Charker, and Amberley Castle’s Paul Peters, for starters.
TV celebs and chefs are in good supply too with local Great British Bake Off favourite Jürgen Krauss and MasterChef champ Tom Rhodes also showing off their skills in the cooking theatres.
What else? Take your pick from tutored wine, beer, champers and cocktail masterclasses; a cookery school for kids; artisan food and drink stalls featuring local producers; fire pit BBQ sessions; a silent disco; a chilli-eating competition; not to mention a serious amount of choice when it comes to things to eat and drink.
And let’s not forget the music: Scouting For Girls are back, joined by Sister Sledge, the Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra and loads of other local and cover bands.

The competition is only open to UK residents over the age of 18. It closes on Thursday, 4th April, 2024 at 5pm. Entries received after this will not be counted. Three winners will be chosen at random after the closing date.
Each winner will receive a pair of full family weekend tickets to Foodies Festival in Brighton. The tickets are valid to access all three days of the festival.
In the event the festival is cancelled, the tickets have no monetary value.
