get your burger with a dash of rum this july

Like burgers? Like rum? Then you’re in luck as Jamaican rum Appleton Estate have teamed up with burger legends Patty & Bun to create a finger-licking Jamaican-inspired chicken burger.

Available in its Brighton Ship Street restaurant for the month of July only, this will be Patty & Bun’s first grilled chicken burger and it sounds mouthwateringly good: soft brioche buns encase the juicy rum-marinated burger that comes heaped with crispy okra hash and coleslaw before being doused in a fiery Appleton Estate rum sauce.

And the perfect drink pairing? The Appleton Estate Jamaican mule, of course. This punchy mix of ginger beer, lime and rum will sock it to your tastebuds. Move over Moscow mule, there’s a new drink in town.

(If you’re not feeling the chicken love, there’s always the incredible realistic but completely vegan plant-based burger at Lucky Beach.)
