Kicking off this Friday is the fabulous Brighton Cocktail Week. The biggest yet, grab a £10 wristband and you’ll be able to sup a wide range of cocktails at over 40 bars and restaurants around the city and beyond for the princely sum of £5. Just make sure everyone you’re with has their own wristband as you can only buy one drink at a time per wristband at the special price.
Just some of those taking part in this year’s event are Bar Valentino (the hidden gem atop what’s now Tinto Taperia), boutique hotel Blanch House, steak and seafood restaurant The Coal Shed and new(ish) Hove coffee and wine bar Hixon Green. You know, the one with the incredible floor-to-ceiling windows.
There are also a whole heap of tastings, food and drink mash-ups and other events that your wristband entitles you to get stuck into, from a sous vide masterclass at The Plotting Parlour and cocktails and cheese at La Cave à Fromage to the insane skills of top bartenders (putting Tom Cruise in Cocktail to shame) at the incredible Flair World Open on 15th July.
