We love that most comforting of comfort foods, the humble toastie. And we love its more upmarket French cousin, the croque monsieur, even more. And at a time when many of us are feeling the pinch, Côte’s croque monsieur give-away this Friday couldn’t be more perfectly timed.
Yep, to celebrate the launch of their new menu that celebrates seasonal French comfort food, affordable French-style food chain Côte are giving away a whopping 800 free portions of the fabulous French toastie this Friday.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the sourdough sarnie filled with creamy, home-made béchamel, nutty Comté cheese and Suffolk-reared Dingley Dell ham from the Côte mobile kitchen on New Road (right by Pavilion Gardens and just around the corner from their Church Street brasserie).
Head along between 10am and 3pm to get your hands on a tasty breakfast/lunch/snack – it’s strictly first come, first served, though, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
