rave to brighton legend fatboy slim in the sky

Local music legend Fatboy Slim will be taking to the skies on Monday night, as he plays the first electronic music gig on board the British Airways i360. Norm will be joined by Robin Ball and Phil Dark to make an impressive line-up for the evening, making history as the i360 takes flight. Hosts for the evening, Cercle, – a livestream media dedicated to promoting artists & venues – specialise in filming and broadcasting DJ sets and live performances on Facebook in carefully selected and unusual places. With a history for playing unusual settings, Norman Cook was the natural fit for the gig. We would most definitely agree!

Doors open at 6.30pm on Monday, with no entry after 7.30pm as they will be taking off ready for the live broadcast. If you fancy joining the party at 450ft, you’ll have to get lucky as tickets are limited to a few hundred, setting you back £50 each. So, how do you get your hands on one? Head over to the event’s Facebook Page and keep your beady eyes on the prize, as they will be posting the ticket link at 5.00pm today, Thursday 26th July. Set your reminders now, because this is one gig you won’t want to miss!

If you miss out on tickets, you’ll still be able to join them in spirit, as you can watch it live online on Cercle’s Facebook page as the pod takes flight and Fatboy starts spinning at 8.00pm as the sun goes down. After his performance, Norm will be interviewed and the online audience will be able to ask questions, so get some good ones ready! We’ll just be sitting here refreshing until 5.00pm…
