Experience great music by candlelight in the Royal Pavilion

Candlelight Concerts has showcased music from the likes of Harry Styles, Amy Winehouse and Fleetwood Mac performed by a string quartet against a backdrop of hundreds of candles, and now it’s the turn of Hans Zimmer, Taylor Swift, Abba and more.

Hans Zimmer has scored some of the greatest movies of all time, and now you’ll be able to hear some of those iconic works, including pieces from Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Sherlock Holmes and Interstellar, at the seaside palace of King George IV, aka the Royal Pavilion, made even more gorgeous by candlelight.

Swifties are in for a treat in September with the quartet performing some of Taylor’s best-loved hits, including ‘We are never ever getting back together’.

Other dates are dedicated to all things Abba, with all their best-known hits on the programme. Thank you for the music indeed. And, in September it’s all about Coldplay and Queen, featuring ‘Don’t stop me now’, and much more.

If you didn’t get along to the last edition at St Mary’s in Kemptown, we’d highly recommend it – it really is a spectacular way to experience music, so it’s well worth grabbing those tickets early as several performances have already sold out.
