Brighton Rocks film festival returns for seventh edition

Brighton Rocks annual art house film festival is back this June with six days of filmic fun and screenings across two city-centre venues. Set up by lecturer, academic and director James Rollins, the festival may only be seven years old, but it’s got big ambitions: its goal is to give maximum support to emerging filmmakers and become the UK’s main forum for indie and underground cinema.

So what you can expect? The submitted films have been split into themed sessions, including feature showcases, documentary and drama, made in Brighton, comedy, music, experimental film and music, thriller and horror, as well as a student film showcase.
