If you’re easily offended, look away now, as local artists Modern Toss – known for their inappropriate but highly relatable artwork – are turning their hand to beer making too. Launching this week, you’ll be able to crack open a cold can of Horse Piss on Brighton beach. What more could you want?
They’ve teamed up with award-winning Sussex brewers Gold-mark Craft Beers to release two small-batch beers just in time for summer. ‘Horse Piss’ is a crisp Anglo-Germanic pilsner, made using the best German malts and hops. And for those of you more into your pale ale, then you can tuck into ‘Ditch Scooper’, an American pale ale with oral and citrus notes using six varieties of American hops balanced with roasted malts.
Complete with swear words (would you expect anything less?), Toss Beer will be available exclusively from Modern Toss from July, so you won’t have to worry about ordering a can of Horse Piss from a bar just yet.
