CANCELLED: Get down to Preston Park for the Pride dog show
Cancelled due to too-high temperatures
Calling all dog fans! The annual Pride community day and dog show is back this August. If you too are a firm fan of your, or someone else’s, four-legged bestie (NB we’re not advocating dog-napping here), then the event is a great opportunity to make new furry friends or show off your best friend.
Get down to Preston Park for 11am on Sunday, 31st August if you want to enter your pooch in categories like waggiest tail, best rescue and best drag dog, or just take in all the cuteness – and seriously impressive costumes. The show kicks off at midday and Brighton drag favourite Ophelia Payne will be judging the novelty classes. (The BOTI dog will be there, too – look out for a silver fluffball in yellow). There’s also a doggy and owner photo booth, a dog catwalk show, food by Brighton lunch club Lunch Positive, a bar and other retail stalls.
Go on, give them a round of a-paws.
Saturday, 31st August; 11am – 5pm; free (there’s a charge for entering your dog in each category)
Preston Park, Brighton, BN1 6SD
