the great escape adds more new artists for 2022

Last year’s Great Escape festival was all virtual, which despite being a bold attempt at making the best of a bad situation will never compare to the real thing. So it’s good news that this year’s festival will be returning – in person – with a bigger and badder line-up than ever before.

The likes of Rebecca Black, Conor Albert, Enumclaw, Enola Gay, HMD, Lunar Vacation, and Charmaine are all on the bill with Tems, ENNY and Gabriels performing at the big Spotlight Show.

The festival announced 120 more artists on Thursday, featuring some of the most exciting names in new music, such as Alfie Templeman, Blackhaine, Chrissi, MUNA, spill tab, STONE, Bru-C, Casisdead, Kid Kapichi and Lido Pimienta.

With so many different performers, it can be hard to decide who to go and see, so they’ve put together these helpful daily highlights (below) and we’ll be publishing our must-sees soon, too.
