The North East Adult Panto’s Snow White and the Seven Drag Queens is heading south and landing at the Brighton Centre in January and if you’re after a filthily fun take on panto, this is for you.
Starring Gogglebox star and Jungle queen Scarlett Moffatt plus drag favourites Michael Marouli, Tomara Thomas, Ophelia Balls, Janice Dickinson, Andi Martine, Miss Dixie Swallows and Brenda LaBeau, get ready to step into a world where fairy tales get a fierce makeover, and the magic is sprinkled with sass and sequins.
But this is not quite Snow White as you know it: an evil queen keeps a watchful eye over her beautiful step-daughter Snow White who has just turned eighteen. When the queen’s faithful mucky-mouthed mirror (played by a surprise guest) informs her she’s no longer is the fairest of them all, the queen knows she’s got to make Ms White disappear.
But Snow White escapes and is somehow kidnapped by seven fabulous drag queens – Itchy, Bitchy, Tipsy, Tiny, Horny, Windy and Pot – who adopt her and make her their new drag project.
Their party’s interrupted when a knock at the door reveals a mysterious lost hag. Will they buy something from her Avon catalogue, or can she persuade Snow White to try a birthday apple shot? Snow White and her drag sisters overindulge and soon find themselves trapped in a deathly sleep.
Will the wicked queen get to wear her crown forever, or has she overlooked the wandering Prince Albert, who is looking for his own happy ending in the woods?
