Lab54 doesn’t do ordinary. Since launching in 2023, the crew has made a name for themselves by throwing parties in places that really shouldn’t be party venues at all – think arcades, lofts, kitchens, even superyachts. The point? To ditch the sterile feel of big-box clubs and bring back that messy, unpredictable, anything-could-happen energy.
On Saturday 4th October, they’re bringing that ethos to Brighton with their Anywhere But A Club tour, taking over St Augustine’s, an Anglican church turned arts centre, for a night that promises house, UK garage, techno and bass in a space that’s definitely not your standard dancefloor. Doors open at 7pm and, true to form, Lab54 are keeping the vibe immersive and a little mysterious. Get there early to nab one of the 100 White Claw hard seltzers they’re giving away on the door.
This isn’t just about music though, it’s about rewriting the rules of where and how we come together. One minute you’re in a historic community space, the next you’re in the thick of a rave that feels like it could evaporate by morning. Miss this and you’ll be the one scrolling through stories on Sunday wishing you’d been there.
Saturday 4th October; from 7pm; from £14.82
