Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is back

Everybody’s usually talking about the weather, so it makes a refreshing change to have this fabulously fun musical to talk about instead. And trust us, you will be talking about it.

Inspired by the true story of Jamie Campbell, a gay British teenager whose school banned him from wearing a dress to his prom, this smash-hit show sold out in Brighton last time it was here.

The coming-of-age musical is back for a 12-day run as part of another major UK and Ireland tour this October, and, yes, we’re excited.

The 16-year-old Jamie of this show lives on a council estate in Sheffield and doesn’t really fit in. He dreams of being a drag star, but a world of prejudices and bullies stand in his way. Little does he know that he’s going to absolutely rock the world.

Featuring West End star Ivano Turco, EastEnders‘ John Partridge, Coronation Street‘s Shobna Gulati and Dancing on Ice‘s Hayley Tamaddon, this heart-warming story has the feel-good factor in spades.

Add to that the original score of catchy pop tunes – penned by singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and Doctor Who writer Tom MacRae – and you’ve got musical magic.

Fancy it? You can book to see the show here.
