Swap your Saturday lie-in for a bellyful of festive fun: Brighton Santa Dash is back on Saturday and it’s not too late to join the hundreds of Saint Nicks hoofing it down the seafront. Yes, they give you the suit. Yes, you will sweat in it (and you probably won’t care).
It’s a 5k out-and-back to the Lagoon and it’s strictly good-vibes-only – jog, walk, trot, strut, whatever. There’s a free Mini Dash for the tiny humans (400 metres of pure festive chaos at 10.20am), medals for everyone, festive tunes galore, and enough red felt to carpet the Palace Pier.
And it’s all in aid of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, so you get to feel Christmassy and do some good while clattering along in a beard.
