boti’s pick of the week: a sustainable 2020

With this week being the first week back to work for many, we’re bringing you a little piece of joy to brighten things up with our first pick of the week for 2020. A new year brings new intentions, naturally, so if you want to learn how you can lead a more sustainable life, then this one is for you. We were pretty excited when The Source Bulk Foods store opened in Brighton before Christmas as we love brands that give back, so we’re very happy to see them teaming up with local sustainability champions The FAIR Shop to co-host Wednesday’s event to inspire change.

The FAIR Shop is one of the only shops in the country to specialise in Fair Trade and ethical fashion, so they have not only been leading the way in the city but the rest of the country too. Whoop. Joining forces with The Source team, they will be inviting Brighton-based sustainable fashion brand PALA Eyewear to join the panel conversation too. They will all be sharing their tips and tricks on how you can reduce the waste in your life and get your head around the importance of ethical fashion, with time for a Q&A with the experts afterwards.

The Source Bulk Foods store is a great way of starting to shop more sustainably, targeted at foodies and eco-conscious shoppers looking to reduce waste, which, let’s face it, we should all be doing. There are other small changes that you can make to get off to a more sustainable 2020 too, like getting yourself a ticket to this event. You’ll get a (recyclable) goody bag too!
