Returning to Glynde this July, Love Supreme jazz festival is worth a visit for the location as much as the music.
Situated near Lewes, just 20 minutes from Brighton, the views of the Weald and the South Downs make it the perfect setting for a weekend of jazz, soul, funk, hip hop and RnB.
This year, the three-day festival is bringing performances from heavy-hitters like De La Soul (playing their only UK full-band show of 2026), Ezra Collective, Lulu, Lemar and Courtney Pine.
But it’s not just about huge names. Alongside these, there’s a strong emphasis on the next generation of artists. This year you’ll find rising acts such as Olympia Vitalis, Emma Rawicz, cktrl, Kio, Poppy Helmer & Friends and the Tomorrow’s Warriors Junior Band, plus Ezra Collective’s curated Temple of Joy stage, which shines a spotlight on emerging artists from the UK’s underground scene.
And there’s more to Love Supreme than the music, too. You can wander the food village, book yourself into yoga, breathwork or massage sessions in the festival’s wellness sanctuary, unwind in wood-fired saunas and hot tubs, browse talks and creative workshops or simply soak up a weekend in the South Downs.
Friday, 3rd July – Sunday, 5th July 2026; from £89.10
