Good tunes, good vibes, good cause at new bank holiday festival

This August Bank Holiday Monday, Daltons Brighton is getting transformed into a glitter-fuelled dance floor for Hey Girl magazine’s Day Dream Festival – a one-day summer bash with heart.

It’s a full-day celebration of music, community, and activism, all rolled into one. The Brighton-based magazine’s day festival features three DJs and seven live acts, including loop artist Lu’Ami, indie-pop meets funk and soul musician Luan Luan, indie-Americana artist Pien, gypsy swing from Alice Underground, and electro-indie duo Fruity Water.

Running from 2pm to 11pm in Daltons’ famously cool space, the festival’s about more than just great tunes, though. All profits go to Choose Love and Women for Women International – charities helping displaced people and survivors of war.

The vibe is all about dancing for a better world, so, grab your glitter, bring your best moves, and make it a bank holiday that’s equal parts party and purpose.
