Dinner and a show is all well and good… but dinner, a show and a ride on the world’s oldest working electric railway? Now that’s Brighton.
Since 1883, the Volk’s Railway has been gliding passengers along the seafront in genteel style, but on Friday 26th September it’s less genteel, more deadly.
Step back to 1937, pull on your best inter-war glamour, and join Touched Theatre for an original murder mystery supper set at a wedding reception. This time, though, the nuptials come with a side of foul play.
Expect laughs, intrigue, a hearty two-course meal from Plenty Catering, and a short trip on the iconic railway itself. And murder and good food come with a side of altruism as the event is in aid of the Volk’s Electric Railway Association (VERA) – because while murder is temporary, heritage lasts forever.
Friday 26th September; 7.15pm – 9.30pm; £54.88
Volk’s Electric Railway, 85 Madeira Drive, Brighton, BN2 1EN
