Brighton’s not short on gigs, but Fever’s Candlelight Series is doing things a little differently. Think intimate live performances across all genres – from classical to pop – bathed in the flickering glow of hundreds of candles. Romantic? Yes. Atmospheric? Very. Flammable? Actually, no (shh, they’re LED candles).
The shows take place inside the Royal Pavilion (yes, the Prince Regent’s wildly extra pleasure palace), which transforms into a dreamy concert space once the sun goes down. And the line-up’s as eclectic as the décor. There’s Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, sure, but also string quartet tributes to Taylor Swift, Green Day, Queen, and – our pick – Studio Ghibli favourite Joe Hisaishi, with sweeping scores from Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle.

The competition is only open to UK residents over the age of 18. It closes on Tuesday 15th July, 2025 at 5pm. Entries received after this will not be counted. Two winners will be chosen at random after the closing date.
Each randomly chosen winner will receive a voucher for a pair of tickets. They can choose which show they would like to redeem their voucher for. The vouchers may only be redeemed for a Brighton show and are valid for five months.
The vouchers have no monetary value.
