Brighton’s cats are ready for their close-up: it’s the city’s first cat tour

Forget ghost walks and history trails – Brighton’s getting its first Cat Tour this Sunday.

Inspired by Toronto’s viral feline stroll, this three-mile wander will guide a group of cat connoisseurs on foot past windows, porches and doorsteps to spot some 35 of the city’s furriest residents.

It doesn’t get much more wholesome than this: the cats stay cosy inside (unless they fancy saying hi), you get to purr over Brighton’s unofficial four-legged celebs, and all proceeds go to the City Cat Shelter.

There’s even a post-walk purrb quiz thrown in for good measure. Consider it the cat’s whiskers of Sunday plans.

Sunday 5th October; 11am – 3pm (tour) and 5.30pm – 8pm (quiz); £8.30
