boti’s pick of the week: mutations festivals

After the team behind Brighton Festival announced their incredible programme last week, we’ve been daydreaming about festivals ever since. There are heaps of the things coming to Sussex this year, from the likes of big boys Brighton Fringe and Love Supreme to the smaller, but equally as loveable, Bimble and Land Beyond. One that’s caught our eye this week is the return of Mutations Festival, an intimate one-day event and it’s happening this weekend.

After a four-year hiatus, the festival born out of 2014’s acclaimed DRILL:BRIGHTON will return to the city and we couldn’t be happier.  The 900-capacity Hansen Hall (image above) in Portslade will see the likes of White Denim (feature image), Brixton guitar gang Goat Girl, Josefin Ohrn & the Liberation, Snapped Ankles, Ohmme and a heap of other great music to get your toes a-tapping.
