book now: moop disco fundraiser

Here at BOTI we don’t think New Year’s Eve should be the only end of the month celebration, and it seems that the MOOP gang agree, as The Museum of Ordinary People are throwing a Disco FUNdraiser at the end of the month.

We’ve been fans of their work for a while and love how MOOP came about, celebrating the hidden stories in everyday objects. And if the award-winning pop-up museum’s talks and workshops are anything to go by, the people of Brighton are in for a treat when they put their party hosting skills into action later this month.

In true MOOP style, their alternative new year party at the end of the month will be bringing dance-offs, DJs and whole lotta D.I.S.C.O as they head back to The Spire in Kemptown on Saturday 25th January, where they had their award-winning pop up back in 2018. The bar will have a mix of drinks to suit both wet and dry January styles and there will be a retro raffle where you could be in the chance with winning some fab prizes, all kindly donated by Brighton businesses.

Tickets are only a fiver and you’ll be helping to support future MOOP projects right here in Brighton & Hove. Get those dancing shoes on – we’ll see you down there.
