Shoreham’s annual festival of words and ideas returns

Shoreham Wordfest is back! The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Making Waves’, reflecting the role books have to play in navigating the tough times ahead.

As ever, there’s a stonking line-up featuring all manner of well-known names in the literary and arts world, such as Kate Mosse, Hugh Bonneville, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, and Emma Jane Unsworth.

But you’ll also find creative writing workshops, concerts, spooky tales, plays, and the return of Fatal Shore, the one-day crime-writing festival set up by local authors Elly Griffiths and William Shaw.
