Horrorfest is back with a fearfully good programme

As the nights draw in and Halloween approaches, it’s time to up the fear factor and celebrate all things scary Brighton-style – yes, it’s time for another round of Horrorfest.

Thirteen days of frightening fun are heading your way – think creepy comedy, macabre magic, terrifying theatre and spooky spoken word.

There’s something for everyone and all levels of horror fan, whether you’re after a mild spook or something downright terrifying. We can’t wait!

We’re particularly looking forward to horror-comedy anthology podcast Ramon Fear’s Terror Tapes: It’s a live show! “Blending the essence” of Twilight Zone, Inner Sanctum Mysteries and Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, the podcast has won awards for its spooky brilliance. Also on our must-see list is Improv The Dead – the gang create an improvised zombie film on the spot from audience suggestions; a spine-tingling Halloween singalong with Spooky Snookie; monstrous panel show Imaginary Porno Scare-ades that puts a spooky-sexy spin on charades apparently; not to mention the annual Horrorfest quiz that tests you on all things gruesome and gory. Basically, the whole line-up all looks chillingly good!
