Need more festival action in your life? Then you’re in for a treat as Psych Fest is back.
So if your musical leanings tend to more of a psychedelic bent, you’ll be in aural heaven at Psych Fest, brought to Brighton by local promoters Joy and the team behind the Edinburgh and Manchester Psych festivals.
After a sell-out debut year in 2024, the multi-site festival is back for more musical mayhem this August.
Early-bird tickets sold out pretty damn quick, but there are still standard tickets to see a truly excellent line-up of acid bands (Gruff Rhys, Jane Weaver, Deadletter, Gong, Yin Yin, Du Blonde, Opus Kink, for starters) and loads more local and not-so-locals acts) across some of Brighton’s best music venues.
And because you’ll need fuel to keep you going, the festival’s teamed up with Pommy’s Pizza to give all wristband holders 15 percent off any of the Italian-owned pizzeria’s New York-style slices or pizzas on the Friday. See you in the queue.
Friday 29th August; 3pm – 3am (wristband exchange opens at 1pm); from £30
Various locations, including Concorde 2 , Komedia, The Green Door Store and The Hope & Ruin
