Here’s some Fabuloso news – Brighton Pride have released the line-up for this summer’s two-day fundraising festival and it’s a good’un.
Mariah Carey is topping the bill on the Saturday – a UK festival exclusive, we understand – and Sugababes are headlining the main stage on the Sunday, the typically more chilled-out day of the event. Carey was due to perform at Pride in 2020, but we all know what happened that year.
And the rest of the line-up is pretty stellar, too, including Ashnikko, Confidence Man, Loreen, Sister Sledge, Will Young, Natalie Imbruglia, Sonique, Ultra Nate and Erasure’s Andy Bell.
And that’s just the main stage. Over 150 LGBTQ+ artists will be performing, with more acts set to be announced over the next few months.
You’ll find other diverse stages and entertainment zones across the park, including Queertown featuring Partybag, Rhys Pieces, Ophelia Payne and Dick Day, plus the Legends cabaret tent, the Cocoa Butter Club, and more.
As ever, proceeds from the tickets cover the running costs of the official Pride events (the festival, the parade and the village party) and contribute to vital LGBTQ+ community fundraising for the Rainbow Fund and Pride Social Impact Fund, as well as other important Pride community grant programmes.
Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd August; from £41.90
