Win a free burger feast as London’s Burger & Beyond arrives in Brighton

Free food? Now you’re talking.

While we’ll always encourage you to support Brighton’s brilliant independent burger scene, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t tempted by the chance to bag dinner for two on someone else’s tab. To celebrate its Brighton opening, Burger & Beyond is hiding 56 QR codes around the city, each redeemable for a free meal for two.

If you’re not feeling lucky (or particularly good at/interested in scavenger hunts), there’s another reason to pay attention. The restaurant is offering 50 percent off food from 14th – 17th July, followed by 30 percent off from 18th – 24th July. Both offers are available by reservation only as part of its soft launch.

The scavenger hunt gets underway on Thursday 9th July, when the restaurant will publish a map on its social channels revealing where the 56 QR codes have been hidden across Brighton. Find one before anyone else, scan it and you’ll win a voucher for a meal for two, redeemable during the restaurant’s first month.

The giveaway’s a nod to the restaurant’s new address at 56 Ship Street, where Burger & Beyond will open its doors on Tuesday 14th July.

There’s a bit of a Brighton connection for the London-born restaurant, too. Founders Craig Povoas and Tom Stock both spent much of their childhood here, making the move to Ship Street something of a homecoming. It’s also the restaurant’s first permanent site outside London, following its recent crowning as the UK’s best burger by independent review site Burger Dudes.

On the menu you’ll find their signature dry-aged beef burgers, fried chicken burgers, rare-breed steaks and Americana-inspired sides, alongside vegetarian and vegan options, shakes and cocktails.

So whether you’re up for racing around Brighton in search of a QR code or simply fancy making the most of the opening discounts, this is one launch that comes with a pretty tasty incentive.

Burger & Beyond opens on Tuesday 14th July at 56 Ship Street. The scavenger hunt begins on Thursday 9th July, with the QR code map released via the restaurant’s social channels that morning.
