Soon, Pride celebrations will be in full swing, and, where both sequins and (bio-degradable) glitter are basic essentials, you need a Pride brunch to match.
The annual Pride Community Parade is the biggest visual event in Brighton & Hove’s calendar, with over 300,000 people taking to the streets to participate. And this year, it’s set to fill the streets of the city with love, laughter and colour again.
If you haven’t decided where you’re going to be setting up camp to see it in all its glory, take a look at some of these fun brunch parties happening along the route.
Double the fun at Permit Room
At Permit Room, the Pride weekend brunch transforms into a brilliantly bonkers Breakfast of Queens over not just one, but two days. Expect live DJs and entertainment from outrageously fabulous drag hosts while you tuck into extended versions of their usual Bombay-inspired breakfasts, alongside frozen lipster cocktails for a fiver, exclusive Pride specials, and Kingfisher beer towers for sharing. Queens don’t wait in line – brunch like royalty this Pride!

Terrace trouble at Pearly Cow
This jewel in the Brighton seafront restaurant crown is another top spot for seeing the parade pass in all its joyful glory. For their very first Pride brunch, Pearly Cow have invited Rupaul’s Drag Race luminary Veronica Green to host and your (rather spendy) ticket gives you full credit towards anything you want from their delicious food and drink menu. How many bottles of champers does that give us?
Saturday 2nd August; 10.30am – 2pm; £130
