Do you feel like vegan chicken tonight? Or today, even? Well, you’re in luck as there’s a new – entirely vegan – fried ‘chicken’ shop opening on Preston Street and it’s Brighton’s first.
Inspired by KFC and Southern American fast food, Really Happy Chicken will be serving up some fantastic-sounding soul food, from vegan chicken burgers, wings and popcorn to fries and shakes (get a load of that doughnut burger!).
The team’s focus is on producing bloody tasty food that just happens to be vegan. We love the sound of this!
And that ‘chicken’? It’s made from seitan, a wheat protein that’s made to look, taste and feel like the real deal.
And more good news, they’re making it easy to fulfil your plant-based chicken cravings as you can eat in, click and collect or order for delivery via Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
