it’s time for tea at brighton’s latest pop up

We love a BOTI brew and recently we’ve taken to experimenting with some of the interesting tea mixes we can get our hands on in Brighton, a city that loves a humble cuppa! And it’s about to get a whole lot hotter, as loose leaf tea specialist T2 open their pop-up store on Friday, 16th November.

Originally hailing all the way from Melbourne, Australia, they’re heading over to the city’s historic quarter, popping up in Brighton’s Duke Street and bringing a taste of T2 to Brighton with over 200 exciting teas with them. They’ll be opening their doors until March 2019, so just in time for the festive period. Now, how much tea can we drink in four months? Don’t challenge us…

The team behind T2 teas pride themselves on turning over a new (and very different) leaf (sorry!) when it comes to making tea; they’re known for their modern take on a British classic. Pop in and chat to the team who will happily take you on an exploration of discovery as you enter a world of tea. A sucker for tasteful homeware, we’ve got our eye on their gorgeous tea-ware and accessories (featured image). Don’t forget your bag for life, either, because you’re probably going to need it.

When you pop in, you can’t miss their ‘smelling’ table, where you’re invited to taste, smell and blend more than 200 varieties and blends of tea from all over the world. If you’re happy with your blend, you can head over to their tastings bar where you can sample and learn how to brew any of the tea varieties. Yes, you could become an expert in one visit… un-tea-lievable, eh?

If you’re new to the world of T2 teas, then prepare to be overwhelmed with flavours and blends. Imagine it and it’s likely they have it (or can create it for you!). From white tea with rose petals to black tea with caramel pieces, they’ve got the lot.

Head down there from Friday 15th to Sunday 18th November and receive 15% off! (20% off for Tea Society Members, yes, that’s a thing, ask in store to find out more). Find them at t2tea.com
