five of our favourite local businesses delivering easter goodies

It’s not too late to get the Easter goodies in. And we definitely need a treat right now. So here are some of the things we’re looking forward to from some of our favourite local businesses. Bank holiday calories don’t count, right?

Real Patisserie
Fancy freshly baked hot cross buns delivered to your door? Of course you do. Well, happily, Real Patisserie are doing just that, selling bakery packages of buns with their buttery croissants and pains au chocolat or freshly baked bread. Yum. Only downside is they’re currently only delivering to BN1 postcodes. But it’s ok because…

Open Bakery Brighton
…is delivering to BN2 postcodes! Open Bakery Brighton, which is closely linked to Real Patisserie, are delivering their tasty hot cross buns to you – order now for delivery on Friday morning – as well as a whole host of other baked deliciousness.

Chocadyllic

Brighton-based chocolate artist Evelyn Day makes incredible, intricate masterpieces out of the sweet stuff (have you seen her chocolate Royal Pavilions?) and has produced some pretty-as-a-picture hand-made eggs for Easter. Choose from plain, sparkly or cherry blossom on milk, white or dark chocolate, with prices starting at just £8 each. Order by Wednesday 7th April via her Instagram, Facebook or website for free delivery on Saturday. At times like these, a little bit (a lot?) of chocolate definitely helps.

Be Chocolat
Their delightful chocolate boutique on Duke Street may have temporarily closed its doors (oh, how we miss their hot chocolate), but you can still order their goodies online for delivery straight to your door. Fill up a box with your favourites (they have plenty of vegan options, too) or grab some praline egglet boxes just for Easter. Order by email at sales@bechocolatbrighton.com, phone on 07737 943786 or on their website. They can’t guarantee delivery in time for Easter now, but you can arrange collection instead.

J Cocoa
Sussex-made chocolatier J Cocoa are selling their beautiful hand-marbled Easter eggs, as well as bags of mini eggs via the Florence Road Market webshop for Saturday delivery. Pop one in when you order your veg box and essentials – including eggs of the non-chocolate variety – for the weekend. Be quick, though, there aren’t many left!
