brighton gin does pride with limited-edition rainbow bottles

Brighton Gin, one of our favourite local tipples, is launching a suitably colourful run of eight limited-edition bottles to celebrate Brighton Pride and raise money for the Rainbow Fund, too

The small-batch gin is releasing 1,400 bottles in eight colour and letter variations, which together spell out ‘Brighton’ (or something less sensible), while the colours reflect the iconic Gay Pride Rainbow Flag, first used at San Francisco Gay Pride in 1978.

The bottles were designed by the team behind the original Brighton Gin label and designer Matt Holbrow provided the hand-painted brush strokes for the Pride 2018 range.

The new run perfectly (and literally) encapsulates the brilliant bold spirit of Brighton and you can be sure that we’ll be handing our cards over for one when they launch next week.

You can grab yours from next Friday 29th June online or at any of these places. £2 from each £45 bottle will be donated to The Rainbow Fund, the Brighton and Hove based grant-giving fund for local LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS organisations. There’s also a Collectors’ Range, which includes all the bottles, if you feel the need (we can see why you would).
