book now: gather – feast in the forest

If you go down to the woods on the 23rd June, you’re sure of a big surprise, as Fire & Wild bring their forest feast to a secret location near Lewes. They originally started planning immersive outdoor dining experiences to help us rebuild our connection with nature. Living in such a crazy tech-filled world, we’re huge fans.

On Saturday 23rd June you’re invited to join them for a magical feast in an ancient oak woodland in East Sussex. We are in. So what exactly can you expect from the experience? Well, there will be a lot of traditional wood-fired cooking and some tasty dishes that tell a story of the landscape, changing seasons and wild ingredients of Northern Europe.

A dinner party like no other, expect a five-course fire-cooked tasting menu, local wines, wild cocktails and a lot of fun as you fully immerse yourself in a surreal multi-sensory dining experience. Strictly no cameras or phones at the table, giving you the opportunity to get back to nature, away from the bright lights and noise of the city (and the omnipresent mobile).
