charity massage marathon returns to jubilee square
What better way to ease yourself into the weekend than with a massage, all in the name of charity? Well, on Friday 19th July massage experts Jing will be taking over Jubilee Square for their annual fundraiser, and this year it’s in the shape of a Massage Marathon & Yoga Festival.
On Friday 19th July, they’ll be keeping their healing hands busy from 10.00am with massages, as booked by you in exchange for a donation (£30-£60 suggested donation) to their chosen charity, Rise. Rise is an incredible local Brighton-based charity who fight every day to relieve poverty, sickness, distress and suffering experienced by those who are abused, and survivors of abuse and violence.
It’s not only massages that they’ll be bringing to the square, as they’ve got a packed line-up of yoga and dance workshops from 10.45am to 6.00pm on the day, too. For a donation of as little as £5 for children and £10 for adults (but if you’ve got more cash, they’d love that, too!) you can take part in the likes of a children’s yoga class, beginners hatha yoga and yoga & mindfulness. The yoga festival is full of classes from local experts including Brighton Natural Health Centre, Yoga in the Lanes and Stretch Yoga.
Ease yourself into the weekend nicely with some deep breathing, relaxation and fundraising for a great local cause. We’ll see you down(ward dog) there. Sorry…
