boti’s pick of the week: kemptown community dinner

What do we love more than a friendly feast? A friendly feast that turns food waste into something tasty, of course. And that’s what’s happening tonight, Thursday 7th February, at the Kemptown Community Dinner.

A collaboration between the not-for-profit London-based organisation Feedback (Feeding People, Backing the Plant) and the Brighton Table Tennis Club (one of our favourite local organisations), the event will see local chefs showcasing their cooking skills as they prepare a tasty meal to celebrate the deliciousness of surplus food, prepped by a team of amazing volunteers. Doesn’t that sound nice?

The menu will be shared on their Facebook event page today (Thursday), once they know what they’ve managed to get their hands on. So keep your eyes peeled to find out what’s in store! Ready, steady, COOK.

Thursday 7th February, 7.00pm – 8.30pm; donations encouraged but not obligatory
