Stuck for fun ideas on a Friday evening? Well, look no further. Albourne Estate is hosting another series of street food pop-ups on Friday nights this summer and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’ve not been to this family-owned winery before, this is a perfect opportunity to have a glass of their tasty vino – they also keep their tasting room open – and meander through the vineyard. Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Downs, the scenery is pretty impressive and we can see why the great British vineyard is having a moment right now. With a festival-style atmosphere, there's bags of room outside for kids to run around and a petanque pitch for those who are up for a bit of competitive fun. Bring a big blanket to graze on the grass or perch up on one of the picnic tables under the sheltered tipi if it gets a little drizzly. Street food trucks include the likes of Cairovan who serve delicious Egyptian street food like wraps packed to the max with locally sourced lamb and chicken or falafel and halloumi fries. Some nights even come with a side of live music!
