It’s International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March and there are a lot of great things happening in the city to celebrate. From brunches to inspiring talks and all things in between, including a Sofar Sounds celebration of female musicians in the form of a gig on Thursday 7th March.
If you’re not familiar with Sofar, then now’s the time to get involved. They turn everyday spaces into the city’s newest music venue, bringing an immersive music experience to any secret space in the city, from your favourite shop to your own front room. To celebrate female musicians and female-fronted acts, Sofar have teamed up with Brighton Women’s Centre for a one-off gig and will be popping up in a secret location in Brighton city centre later this week.
The tickets are £10 and allocated on a lottery basis, so sign up now and they’ll let you know whether you’ve been one of the lucky ones to bag yourself entry!
