book now: oops festival of movement

Imagine if there was a festival in the city dedicated to bringing together contemporary performance and visual artists to create a movement, stand up and have a voice in the pretty challenging times that we’re living in. Just imagine! Well, now you can do more than that, as the Swallowsfeet Collective are bringing their Oops Festival to The Old Market later this month.

A collective of five indie artists and performers, the Swallowsfeet Collective will be bringing artists from all over the world to the stage at TOM from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March and they’re inviting you to talk, watch and taste your way into the future.

Selected from a whopping 600 proposals from independent artists, shows range from a ‘hyperactive duet which toys with the meaning of life’ (aka This is how we do it) to a UK premiere of Spain’s Iria Arenas’ Anverso, where movement is used to imagine a dystopian world. With a top line-up of performances built on dance, visual design, music and film, there’s guaranteed to be an interesting mix of thought-provoking and entertaining productions. It’s going to be cool, colourful and contagious!
